Fete of Wales Wedding Photos From a July Celebration
This Fete of Wales wedding was a blast to shoot last month. To say that this group of people had a lot of energy would be an understatement. The storms held off just long enough for us to do an outdoor wedding ceremony and all of our wedding party photos. Check out the photos and let me know what you think! I’ll break down the wedding and vendors towards the end of the page.

Wedding Prep Photos
We began the day with all of the wedding prep photos at Fete of Wales. They have an awesome bridal suite and groom suite filled with natural light and space for all your wedding party. This allowed us to be much more efficient in how we worked since there wasn’t any driving involved.
First Look
After we finished up with prep photos, we headed outside to do a first look. Hair and makeup ended up running over two hours beyond their scheduled time. We had originally planned on doing all of wedding party photos prior to the ceremony after the first look. Since hair and makeup was running behind, we had to push all of wedding party photos to after the ceremony. It was a little bit hectic trying to finish prep, a first look, and personal vows prior to the ceremony. We were actually somewhat happy this happened since there is not very much shade at Fete of Wales. Being so far behind schedule allowed us to push things to a later time when the sun had set a little bit more in the sky. This is a good thing for photography.
Ceremony
We had an outdoor ceremony and managed to get everything back on schedule since we are very flexible. There was a storm rolling in later in the day and that played in our favor as the sky became very overcast shortly before the ceremony. The clouds act like a big soft box and create very soft even light. The ceremony was beautiful and we felt like we nailed the whole thing!
Wedding Party
Following the ceremony, we did all of the wedding party and couple portraits. We are extremely quick with these shots and it only took 20 minutes total. Back in the day wedding photographers used to take hours to accomplish what we can do in just a few short minutes. Our goal is to get
Reception
The reception was a blast to capture. While it was storming outside, these guys danced the night away. It’s always fun photographing and filming a group of people who love to dance!
