These are some of my favorite senior picture poses taken near me in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Whether you are photographing a senior girl or senior guy, posing can be tough! Being a senior pictures photographer, I consider it my job to know exactly how to pose each client and make it an easy experience for them. Quick Tips

My favorite quick tip for posing is “when in doubt bend it out”. It never looks good to have straight arms or legs. Work with different angles and bends to see what works best. A great way to achieve this naturally is by adding in some prompts with motion involved. Getting people moving makes them look and feel more natural. This also creates some very natural posing.

To get more variety in your session, mix in some poses sitting down. Doing a full session of standing can make for a boring gallery. I do at least 1 or 2 sitting poses every session that I shoot.
